Childhood is sweet, isn't it? You will fall in love with someone and tail him or her anywhere, keep his or her photos, and try to make conversation keep going. Yeah, those were what happened with sisters-not-related-by-blood, Diana and Corey. While Corey fell in love with Spencer Addison (their story is in Double Exposure), Diana didn't know that she also fell in love with Cole Harrison, the stable-boy.

It's been years now. Diana is 31 years old woman not a 16 years old girl anymore, success, and became an icon of Foster Beautiful Living. She didn't reach that position in smooth ways, her father died and left them in tight economy. When she was 22 years old, she tried to save her family by loaned money from her relatives and explained her business plan.

Become an icon was not easy, her private life became public, and the worst was her fiance, Dan Penworth, jilted on her! No, she couldn't cry, she had a business to take care. Beautiful Living market will fall down if her image became bad in public. She was in a hurry to find a way out of her problem And then, someone appeared with two glasses and a champagne in his hand.
Diana didn't recognized at first, but when he was showered by the light, she saw his gray eyes, she couldn't believe that Cole was there. Cole became her knight in shining armor.

Former stable-boy had become a CEO and a billionaire, who can believe it? He came to Orchid Ball because it's his responsibility as one of contributors. He heard the rumors and knew how humiliated Diana was.

Then, he came to Diana to bargain. He will solve Diana's problem only if Diana agreed to marry him. His uncle gave him ultimatum that if Cole didn't marry in 6 months, his uncle's stocks will be given away to his nephew and niece who knew nothing about business.

Both of them agreed, but when their lips met, there's a feeling inside that this was not only a bargain...

Judith McNaught (JM) is one of my favourite authors. The first book which I read is her historical romance, Something Wonderful, and then I fall in love with her books.

Cole is a handsome, sexy, and smart man. He's every woman dreams about. On the other hand, Diana is a rich, petite, down to earth woman. She's every man dreams about. It's perfect that they became one. But when a rumor about Cole was appeared, I thought that she would run, but no, she didn't run away. She faced it. And it made me sank, it's very rare plot in JM's books. Two thumbs up for you =)

JM successfully ruled out the characters. I really hate Jessica, she is a bitch! How can a mother and a woman acted like that? Also Dan Penworth, he's a jerk! Grrrrr...
But I love Foster family, they are warm and support each other =*

My favourite quote:
"There will be a few times in your life when all your instincts will tell you to do something, something that defies logic, upsets your plans, and may seem crazy to others. When that happens, you do it. Listen to your instincts and ignore everything else. Ignore logic, ignore the odds, ignore the complications, and just go for it."  - Robert Foster
In comparison, her contemporary romance maybe not as good as historical romance. Nevertheless I still find it heartwarming =)
